UDUTH gets NBTE accreditation for ND & HND in Nursing

The College of Nursing Sciences at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto, has received accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to offer National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing Sciences.

This approval takes effect from the 2025/2026 academic session.

Admission Requirements

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and NBTE require all candidates to have a UTME registration number and score before gaining admission into any ND or HND programme.

Only candidates who registered and sat for UTME are eligible for admission into ND and HND Nursing Sciences at the college.

What Prospective Students Should Do

Students who want to study ND or HND Nursing Sciences at UDUTH Sokoto should:

• Include College of Nursing Sciences, UDUTH Sokoto as a choice while filling JAMB forms.
• Ensure they meet the UTME registration and score requirements.
