Steps for NDU Online Clearance
The school has asked students to use a reliable Internet centre, with staff who know their way around. Errors made in the process will not be on the university. Here is the flow:
- Log on to NDU fees portal and click “Newly Admitted Student”.
- Enter your Post UTME email and JAMB registration number.
- Activate your account using the One-Time Password sent to your email.
- Sign in again and generate an acceptance e-teller.
- Pay online and print your receipt.
- Visit NDU clearance portal and click “Start Clearance”.
- Fill out the form provided.
- Pay your school fees at the NDU fees portal.
- Upload all required documents on the clearance portal.
- Print every necessary slip or confirmation.
- Take the printed copies to your department for physical verification.
- After checks are complete, you can print your admission letter and clearance certificate.
NDU Acceptance Fee Payment Details
The acceptance fee, also called matriculation fee, is compulsory and non-refundable. The figures vary, depending on your entry mode and faculty:
- Year One students: ₦40,000.
- Plus ₦100,000 professional levy for College of Health Science.
- Direct Entry students:
- ₦150,000 for Faculty of Law.
- ₦120,000 for College of Health Sciences.
- ₦100,000 for all other Faculties.
Payment is strictly online. No cash, no shortcuts.
Documents Required for Upload
Candidates are expected to scan and upload the following:
- O’level results.
- Birth certificate or age declaration.
- Local government ID certificate.
- Two signed attestation letters addressed to The Registrar, NDU, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa.
- A signed statutory declaration from a law court.
Deadlines and Warnings
The clock is ticking. Admission becomes void if fees are not paid within two weeks of receiving your provisional offer. Your slot can be passed to another waiting candidate. Admission letters, clearance slips, and related documents can only be printed after school fees have been paid in full.
