Nigerian Breweries (ITF-NECA) Technical Skills Development Programme

The Technical Skill Development Programme, facilitated by Nigerian Breweries Plc in partnership with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), is an intensive seven-month training initiative. This non-residential programme equips you with practical, in-demand skills in mechanical, automation, and engineering maintenance.

Programme Details

In collaboration with Nigerian Breweries, the ITF-NECA initiative aims to train and empower Nigerian youths with employable technical and scientific skills. Participants receive training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries and work at various brewery locations. The Technical Skills Development Programme ensures that you gain hands-on expertise and industry exposure, although you will not receive a salary during the training period. Instead, you’ll benefit from a monthly stipend, free tuition, and lunch.

Objectives of the Programme

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Achieve credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent with at least a Lower Credit from an accredited institution. Relevant fields include Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and others.
  • Have graduated no earlier than 2020.
  • Have completed the NYSC programme by the time of application.
