Nigerian Law School 2025/2026 academic calendar for Bar Part II

The Council of Legal Education has released the 2025/2026 Bar Part II academic calendar for the Nigerian Law School. This Calendar applies across Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yola, Yenagoa, and Port-Harcourt campuses; the key dates are set out by term.

Registration, induction and mock trials (2 weeks)

Lectures commence (9 weeks)

Director-General’s address (1 day)

1st term Bob Dinner (3 days)

2nd Bob Dinner and lectures end (3 days)

Lecture ends (1 day)

Pre-externship workshop (1 day)

2nd term schedule

Pre-externship vacation (2 days)

Court externship (5 weeks)

Mid-externship vacation (1 week)

Chambers externship (5 weeks)

Post-externship vacation (1 week)

3rd term schedule

Portfolio assessment (2 weeks)

Mock registry practice and NBA conference (1 week)

Lectures (6 weeks)

Mooting and mock practice registry activities (2 weeks)

Mooting activities by SRC Judicial Council, mock practice registry activities (Land, CAC, Multi-Door Courthouse, Law Clinic), SRC Law Week, and mock trials:
