The Nigerian Navy has announced the commencement of its Batch 37 recruitment exercise.
This opportunity invites Nigerians to join one of the country’s key forces dedicated to safeguarding its maritime borders.

General Information
Applications are free and must be submitted online.
Only one valid application is allowed per applicant.
Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.
Applicants must print the following documents after completing the online application:
- Acknowledgement Form
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Local Government Attestation Form
- Guarantor’s Certification Form
Eligibility
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).
Male applicants must not be shorter than 1.69 metres, while female applicants must not be shorter than 1.65 metres.
Applicants must be medically, psychologically, and physically fit.
Applicants must have no previous convictions on criminal grounds.
Guidelines for Applicants
Applicants with O’Level or SSCE results must be aged between 18 and 22 years as of 31 December 2024.
O’Level or SSCE applicants must have at least five credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, not older than 2018.
Applicants with OND or NCE qualifications must be aged between 18 and 26 years.
Applicants for Chaplain/Imam Assistant or Driver/Mechanic roles must be aged between 18 and 28 years.
Applicants in these categories must have at least five credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, not older than 2014.
Tradesmen applying in areas such as tailoring, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, painting, or air conditioning technology must possess Trade Test certificates and credits in English with at least four passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, not older than 2014.
Applicants for allied medical professions must hold an ND from a recognised training institution and a valid practising license.
Applicants as sports professionals must present certificates or medals proving their experience.
Proficiency in English is required for all applicants.

Important Dates and Notices
Online registration begins on 15 November 2024 and ends on 20 December 2024.
The recruitment aptitude test will take place on 6 January 2025 at centres across the country.
Applicants must not make payments to anyone during the recruitment process as the exercise is free.
The attestation form must include a passport photograph and photocopies of the signee’s driver’s license, international passport, or national ID card.
Successful applicants will undergo basic military training and will be enlisted as Ordinary Seamen upon completion.
