General Rules for Scholarships
- Scholarships only apply to first-year applicants
- Only results from the admission year are accepted
- Scholarships don’t cover hostel fees
- You must maintain a CGPA of 3.50 to keep your scholarship
- No misconduct allowed—one strike, and you lose the scholarship
- Scholarships are first-come, first-served and subject to limited slots
- You can only apply under one scholarship category
Tuition Discounts
Nile also gives tuition relief in the form of discounts. These apply in a few specific cases.
Sibling Discounts
If a parent has more than one child enrolled at Nile:
- 2 children – 5%
- 3 children – 10%
- 4 children – 15%
- 5 or more – 20%
Conditions:
- Apply formally, as it’s not automatic
- Children must share a biological parent
- The discount starts from the semester you apply and continues as long as the student remains enrolled
Discounts for Parents Studying Too
Parents of current students who enrol in a postgraduate programme at Nile get a 10% discount.
Group Sponsorship Discounts
Organisations sponsoring students can qualify for bulk discounts:
- 5–10 students – 10%
- 11–20 students – 15%
- 21 or more – 20%
Note: These offers also run on a quota system, and applications close once the spots are filled.
One Last Thing
You can’t combine scholarships or discounts. If you qualify for more than one, pick the one that gives the highest reduction. Once you choose, you can’t switch.
And don’t wait too long—discounts and scholarships only apply at the point of entry.
