NSUK Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has approved the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. The calendar includes dates for key activities, public holidays, and semester events.

First Semester

DECEMBER 2024

• Friday, 13th: University closes for end-of-year break and opening of university portal for registration.
• Tuesday, 24th: Christmas Eve.
• Wednesday, 25th: Christmas Day.
• Thursday, 26th: Boxing Day.
• Tuesday, 31st: New Year’s Eve.

JANUARY 2025

• Wednesday, 1st: New Year’s Day.
• Sunday, 12th: Resumption of all new and returning students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
• Monday, 13th:
  • Resumption of staff from the end-of-year break.
  • Commencement of lectures for all students.
• Tuesday, 14th: Meeting of the Academic Planning and Curriculum Committee.
• Wednesday, 15th: Meeting of the PG Board.
• Sunday, 19th: Closing of registration for all new and returning students.
• Monday, 20th: Commencement of late registration for new and returning students.
• Wednesday, 22nd: Meeting of the Committee of Deans, Provost, and Academic Directors.
