The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce new undergraduate programmes.
These programmes will be available from the 2024/2025 academic session under the College of Petroleum Administration and Management.

Official Confirmation from NUC
A letter dated 25th February 2025, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, confirmed the approval.
The letter, signed by the Executive Secretary of the NUC, stated that after thorough consideration, the commission has approved the establishment of these programmes in a full-time mode at FUPRE’s main campus.
With this approval, students can enrol in these courses from the 2024/2025 academic session.
