OAU Admission List 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session is now out. Students who took part in the OAU Admission Screening Exercise can check their admission status online through the JAMB CAPS portal or the university’s official website.

How to Check OAU Admission List

At the moment, candidates can only check their OAU admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Follow these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal.
2. Log in using your JAMB email and password.
3. Scroll down and select “Check Admission Status.”
4. Click “Access my CAPS.”
5. Tap “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission into OAU.

What the Different JAMB CAPS Responses Mean

1. Admission Offered:
   You’ve been officially admitted. Accept or reject the offer on the CAPS portal.
2. Admission in Progress (AIP):
   Your application has been reviewed by the school and is awaiting JAMB’s final approval.
3. Recommended:
   Your application has been considered and sent to JAMB for further review.
4. Not Admitted:
   You haven’t been offered admission yet. The school might still release another list.
5. Pending:
   Your application is still being processed.

After Accepting Your Admission

Once your OAU admission offer appears, proceed to accept or reject your offer. You can do this through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT Centre or by SMS.
Send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

After accepting, print your official JAMB Admission Letter for record-keeping and clearance.

Checking OAU Admission on Mobile

Some phone users may not see the “Admission Status” option on CAPS because the full page isn’t displayed. To fix this, switch your browser to desktop mode.
If you’re using Chrome, tap the menu icon and select “Request desktop site” to view the complete page.
