OAU Update on COVID-19 for Staff and Students
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) update on COVID-19 pandemic for staff and students.
The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, extends special appreciation to all Staff, Students and other members of the OAU community for the support, patience and perseverance, as humanity endures and battles the unfortuntate COVID-19 scourge.
OAU is working locally, and in collaboration with National and International Institutions and Agencies, particularly in the areas of academic content and research. Management is also exploring the feasibility of engaging our students productively, within the lockdown period, to ameliorate the detrimental effect of the pandemic on our academic programmes. We will keep you informed of developments.
Please wash and sanitize your hands regularly, maintain social distance, stay at home avoiding social visits and courtesy calls, and maintain all other measures put in place by health officials to combat the pandemic.
God will continue to strengthen, secure and preserve you and your family members as we look forward to better days ahead.
Thank you.
