OAUTHC Opens 2025 Post-Basic Perioperative Nursing Admission

The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, is now accepting applications into its Post-Basic Perioperative Nursing programme. The course runs for 12 months and begins in November 2025.

It’s open to nurses who are already registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and meet the required academic background.

What You Need to Apply

To qualify, applicants must:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Have at least five credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• Obtain these credits from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in no more than two sittings
• Not mix NABTEB with other exam bodies when combining results

If your documents don’t meet the list above, you won’t be considered.

How to Apply

• Visit the OAUTHC School Portal
• Pay the application fee of ₦15,000
• Complete and submit the online form

No paper forms will be accepted. Make sure you fill in your details correctly.

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: Friday, 8 August 2025
• Written Test: Tuesday, 19 August 2025
• Oral Interview: Wednesday, 20 August 2025
