Federal Poly Oko NBTE new programmes Admission 2025/2026

Federal Polytechnic Oko has announced that the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved additional programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The management said the approval covers new ND and HND options; candidates who want to apply should follow the admission steps and meet the stated requirements.

List of newly approved programmes

Federal Polytechnic Oko listed these newly approved programmes:

National Diploma (ND)

• ND Geological Technology
• ND Horticultural Technology

Higher National Diploma (HND)

• HND Microbiology
• HND Biochemistry
• HND Physics
• HND Chemistry
• HND Biology

Same idea, different levels; ND and HND are not the same track, so applicants should pick the right one.

Admission requirements (as stated)

Federal Polytechnic Oko listed the requirements for interested candidates.

1) Make Oko first choice on JAMB

Interested and qualified candidates are required to visit any JAMB CBT centre to effect a change of institution, by making Federal Polytechnic Oko their first choice.

2) Required O’Level credits

Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results, including:

• English Language
• Mathematics

3) Minimum JAMB score

Candidates must obtain a minimum JAMB score of:

• 100 marks
