You can find your admission status by going to the OOU admission portal.
Enter your JAMB registration number and your surname as the password.
Click on the “Login” button to see if you have been accepted.
Complete the Next Steps After Admission
If you have been admitted to OOU, you will need to take the following steps.
First, log in to the JAMB CAPS portal to accept or reject your offer.
Once you accept your offer, you will need to print your admission letter.
Go to the JAMB Admission Letter page to download and print your letter.
Check the Admission Status on JAMB Portal
You can also check your admission status on JAMB’s portal.
- Visit the JAMB Efacility portal.
- Log in with your username and password.
- Look for the “Check Admission Status” option and click it.
- Choose your exam year, then enter your JAMB registration number.
- Click “Check Admission Status” to see your OOU admission result.

If your status says “Not Yet Admitted”, there is still time to be accepted.
