OOU Admission Scam Alert! Beware of Fraudsters
Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-lwoye, warning to post UTME candidates to beware of admission racketeers and fraudsters.
The attention of the authority of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-lwoye has been drawn to an online information instructing candidates to pay a sum of N5.000 “before admission commences for further clearance.”
The badly couched statement further directed prospective candidates to contact one “Mrs Omosule,M.l, via Facebook “
The University Management hereby states that the above information is false and it is a way to defraud unsuspecting candidates.
Olabisi Onabanjo University does not transact its admission on Facebook or through the social media.
The general public, parents/guardians and most especially, candidates seeking admission into the University are hereby informed to check information update about their admissions only on the University website: oouagoiwoye.edu.ng.
