It’s that time again. Admission season. If you’ve had your eyes on a degree through the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH) and the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), then you might want to keep reading. The form’s out, the portal’s live, and the countdown has already begun.
Let’s take it step by step so you don’t get lost in the noise.

Who Can Apply?
Admission is open to two kinds of students. If you’re writing UTME and planning to enter at 100 Level, you’re in. If you already hold qualifications like A’ Level, OND, or JUPEB and are going for 200 Level through Direct Entry (DE), you’re also eligible.
One thing though, OYSCATECH (FUNAAB Affiliation) must be your first choice on the JAMB portal. If it’s not? Just walk to a CBT centre and fix that quickly. No shame in correcting course.
Where To Apply
Once you’re set, head to the official admission page and start your registration. Don’t rush, don’t guess, and please don’t let someone fill it for you without watching closely. One wrong detail can mess things up.
All admissions go through JAMB CAPS. That means if your score is low or the course is full, you might be out of luck. So, pick wisely.
Requirements You Shouldn’t Miss
O’Level
Before anything else, you must have at least five credits in relevant subjects. That includes English and Maths. And no, they won’t accept more than two sittings. Check the full requirement breakdown if you’re unsure about what your course needs.
UTME
You need a valid 2025 UTME result. If you scored below the cut-off for your chosen course, biko, pick another one. No need to waste the form.
Courses & Their Cut-Off Marks
Here’s what’s available and the minimum scores you need:
Agriculture
- Agricultural Economics and Farm Management – 160
- Animal Production and Health – 160
- Plant Physiology and Crop Production – 160
Environmental Resources and Management
- Forestry and Wildlife Management – 160
Biological Science
- Microbiology – 200
Computing Science
- Computer Science – 200
Physical Science
- Chemistry – 180
- Statistics – 200
Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering and Technology – 200
Honestly, anything below these? You might be gambling.
How To Apply
Once you get on the application portal, here’s how to go about it:
- Login with your JAMB details
- Check your personal data (it auto-loads from JAMB, so you can’t edit that part)
- Fill in things like your phone number, O’Level results, and extra qualifications if you’re applying for Direct Entry
- Review everything on the Acknowledgement Page
- Click Submit and print your application form
Don’t forget your passport photo. It must be clear, not from 2018, and please, no Snapchat filters.
Application Closes Soon
The form closes on Friday, 15th August 2025. That’s around the corner, so don’t leave it till the last minute. Once the deadline passes, that’s it. No story that touches.
Corrections?
Made a mistake? You can fix it online, but it’ll cost you ₦1,500. Here’s the correction link. Don’t say they didn’t warn you – complaints after the closing date won’t be entertained. Omo, act fast.
