Conditions for Resumption
To facilitate a smooth transition back to academic activities, PLASU has set forth several important conditions that all students must adhere to:
- Fine for Damages: Due to the damage incurred during the disruption on 19th April 2024, each student is required to pay a fine of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00). Details on how to make this payment can be found on the university’s website and notice boards around campus.
- School Fees: Only students who are up-to-date with their school fees payments are eligible to resume classes and sit for examinations.
- Behavioural Undertaking: Each student must submit a letter of undertaking to demonstrate good behaviour moving forward. This letter must be witnessed by a traditional ruler not below the rank of a District Head. For students not originating from Plateau State, a recognized community leader can serve as a witness. The template for this letter can be downloaded from the PLASU website.
Important Reminders
Please ensure that all the above conditions are met before your return. Adhering to these guidelines is essential for maintaining a conducive academic environment and for gaining access to university and examination facilities.
