Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo (RUGIPO) Extends Easter Break

This is to inform all students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, that the resumption date from the current Easter Break has been shifted from Sunday 24th April, 2022 to Sunday 8th May, 2022.

While deciding to effect a shift in the resumption date as stated, Management took into serious consideration the need to avert a situation in which students have to start travelling back home for Eid al-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of the 2022 Ramadan Fast and Workers’ day celebration, both of which come up in the first week of May, 2022.

All categories of students are therefore directed to resume on Sunday 8th May, 2022 in readiness for the continuation of Academic activities on Monday 9th May, 2022.

While wishing all the Muslim Faithfuls a pleasant Eid al-Fitr celebration, Management also wishes all students a very safe return to the Institution on Sunday 8th May, 2022.
