Qualifications and experience
- Professor
- PhD in the field with at least twelve years of teaching, research, and professional work in a university or similar.
- Strong record of peer-reviewed papers, proven postgraduate supervision, and the skill to start and lead research.
- For Medicine and Surgery: MBBS or BDS, MDCN registration, and an MDCN-registered Specialty Fellowship. At least nine years of post-fellowship teaching and research in a university.
- Reader (Associate Professor)
- PhD in the field with at least ten years of teaching and research in a university or similar.
- Strong record of papers, postgraduate supervision, and research leadership.
- For Medicine and Surgery: MBBS or BDS, MDCN registration, and an MDCN-registered Specialty Fellowship with at least six years of post-fellowship teaching and research.
- Senior Lecturer
- PhD in the field with at least five years of university teaching and research.
- Good record of papers and proof of original work.
- For clinical fields: MBBS or BDS, MDCN registration, and an MDCN-registered Specialty Fellowship with at least three years of post-fellowship teaching and research. Relevant professional registration is required.
- Lecturer I
- PhD in the field with at least three years of post-qualification teaching or research, plus a good record of papers and clear promise.
- For clinical fields: MBBS or BDS, MDCN registration, and a Specialty Fellowship from a recognised Postgraduate Medical College with relevant experience.
- Lecturer II
- MBBS or BDS, MDCN registration, and at least a Master’s degree or membership of a recognised Postgraduate Medical College in the specialty.
- Proof of PhD registration and progress is an advantage.

- Commercial and International Law
Qualifications and experience
- Professor
- PhD in Law with a focus area that fits the department.
- At least twelve years of full-time post-qualification teaching and research in a recognised university.
- Strong record of papers, active research, and proof of leadership, mentoring, and service.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association, and preferably NALT or similar.
- Reader (Associate Professor)
- PhD in Law in a relevant area.
- At least nine years of university teaching and research.
- Substantial papers, active research, and the capacity to lead and supervise.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association and other relevant bodies.
- Senior Lecturer
- PhD in Law in a relevant area.
- At least six years of university teaching and research.
- Record of papers and ongoing research.
- Proof of teaching skill, research strength, and leadership promise.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association, and preferably NALT.
- Postgraduate teaching or supervision and service records are an advantage.
- Lecturer I
- PhD in Law in a relevant area.
- At least three years of teaching or legal practice at university level or similar.
- Good record of papers and clear teaching and research promise.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association.
- Candidates with LL.M and strong experience may be considered with proof of PhD registration and progress.
- Lecturer II
- LL.M in Law from a recognised university.
- Good first degree in Law with at least Second Class Upper and call to the Bar.
- Strong promise for teaching and research with proof of PhD enrolment or readiness.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association is required.
Non-teaching positions
- Technologists for ICT and e-Learning Resources
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Certifications in LMS admin, multimedia, or e-learning tools are desirable.
- Hands-on support for virtual learning, e-learning platforms, media content, and user help.
- College Administrators and Departmental Admins
- BSc or HND in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Sociology, Mathematics, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
- A diploma in office, records, or management is an advantage.
- Experience in higher education admin, with strong planning and communication skills.
