Admission Requirements

To apply for the IJMB programme at SLU, you need to meet the following criteria:

1. Academic Qualifications: You must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your SSCE, obtained in no more than two sittings. These credits must include:
   • For Arts Students: English Language
   • For Science Students: Mathematics
   • For Social and Management Sciences Students: Either English Language or Mathematics
2. Documents for Screening: You need to present the originals and photocopies of the following documents during the screening exercise:
   • Acknowledgement Slip
   • Evidence of Payment (RRR Receipt)
   • WAEC, SSCE/NECO Statements of Result or their equivalent
   • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background
   • Certificate of Indigeneship
   • Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age

Method of Application

Follow these steps to apply for the IJMB programme:

Step 1: Visit the SLU Website

Go to the Sule Lamido University website at slu.edu.ng. Click on “Admission” and select “Online Application.” Alternatively, you can visit https://admissions.slu.edu.ng/ijmb-remedial/ijmb directly and click on “Apply” to create an account using your email address as your username and a password of your choice.

Step 2: Log In and Update Profile

Log in using your email and password to upload your photo and update your profile information.

Step 3: Select Programme

Choose the programme you want to apply for, such as IJMBE Arts, Science, or Social Sciences, and fill in your O’Level results and subject combinations.

Step 4: Generate Payment Invoice

Generate your payment invoice or pay directly.

Step 5: Make Payment

Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only (exclusive of REMITA charges) as the IJMBE Screening Fee via REMITA on the SLU Admission Portal.

Step 6: Generate Acknowledgement Slip

After payment, generate your Acknowledgement Slip.
