Qualification and Experience Requirements
Professor
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or relevant fellowship (for Medicine) with at least twelve years of teaching and research experience. They should have independent research capability, proven administrative skills, and publications in reputable journals. Applicants should already be on the rank of Reader or Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or fellowship with a minimum of ten years of experience, strong research background, publications in reputable journals, and prior rank as Senior Lecturer.
Senior Lecturer
A Ph.D. or fellowship with at least seven years of teaching and research experience is required. Evidence of scholarly publications and the ability to supervise postgraduate work is expected.
Lecturer I
A Master’s degree, MBBS, B.Pharm, or Pharm.D. with at least five years of experience is required. A Ph.D. is an advantage.
Lecturer II
A Master’s degree in a relevant area with at least three years of teaching or research experience.
Assistant Lecturer
A Master’s degree with a minimum of one year of teaching or research experience.
Confidential Secretary I
A minimum of four O’Level credits including English Language, plus a degree or HND in Secretarial Studies. Candidates must present an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
