SSU Disclaimer/Recruitment Scam Alert

The attention of the Management of Sokoto State University, Sokoto, has been drawn to false advertisements being circulated online, soliciting applications for a purported recruitment exercise. It is to that effect, the Management wishes to notify the general public that the University is not recruiting for any position, either directly or through any proxy (I.e agents).

The general public is hereby warned to be cautious and vigilant to avoid falling victim to the plots of the unscrupulous elements who are circulating the false recruitment notices, to deceive unsuspecting applicants. It should be further noted that the University has a standard recruitment procedure that it is always strictly abiding by.

In view of the above, the University is hereby advising the general public to always seek accurate and credible information by visiting its website @ www.ssu.edu.ng, its verified social media handles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In and YouTube or by visiting the Institution.
