SSUES Registration Procedure for 2024/2025 Newly Admitted

Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto (SSUES), has released registration procedures for newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. Follow these steps to complete your registration process.
Acceptance, Screening, and Confirmation of Admission
- Visit the SSUES Portal (https://portal.ssues.edu.ng).
- Select “Check Admission Status” on the portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Check Admission”.
- Provide a valid phone number and email address.
- Generate an invoice for Acceptance and Screening fees.
- Make payment using the details provided on the invoice.
- Log in with your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password.
- Complete your bio-data, upload documents, and print the bio-data form.
- Present the following at the confirmation centre:
- Original and photocopies of credentials (Primary school certificate, O’Level results, Birth certificate/declaration of age, Indigene letter).
- JAMB Admission Letter (Get JAMB Admission Letter here).
- Passport photographs.
Payment of Registration Fees
- Log in to the SSUES Portal (https://portal.ssues.edu.ng) with your Admission Number.
- Change your password if prompted.
- Generate an invoice for registration fees.
- Confirm the total amount payable and print the invoice.
- Use the invoice reference number to pay on the Payarena platform under “Shehu Shagari University of Education”.
- Print the payment slip for reference.
Course Registration
- Visit the SSUES Portal (https://portal.ssues.edu.ng) and log in.
- Navigate to “Course Registration”.
- Select all required core courses and applicable electives.
- Submit the registration form for departmental approval.
- Print the approved course form.
Registration at the University Library
Students should visit the University Library with the following:
- Confirmation Letter.
- Evidence of payment of registration fees.
- Course registration form.
- Passport photographs.
Registration at the University Clinic
Students should also visit the University Clinic with the same documents required at the Library.
For smooth registration, ensure compliance with all instructions and timelines.
