TASFUED 17th Convocation Ceremony New Date

By  Updated on

The management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education has announced a new date for its 17th convocation ceremony.

The event, which was earlier postponed, is now set to hold on Thursday, 29 January 2026.

School authorities explained that the change became necessary, and they expressed regret over any stress or confusion the postponement may have caused students, parents, and invited guests. The management also thanked everyone for staying patient during the wait. These things happen sometimes, though it can be tiring.

All plans and arrangements shared before the postponement still stand. Graduands and guests are advised to stick with the earlier guidelines, as nothing major has changed. More details about the programme of events will be shared later, once everything is finalised.

The upcoming ceremony will also form part of activities marking the university’s 20 plus 1 anniversary. It is expected to be a moment of pride for graduating students, their families, and the wider TASFUED community. For many students, this is the day they have been waiting for, gown and all.

The school ended the notice by appreciating the continued support shown by students, staff, alumni, and friends of the university.
