ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

UNDERGRADUATE

There are two(2) levels of entry into the Bachelor Degree programme 

(1) Applicant for 100level admission must have a minimum of five(5) credits including English Language and mathematics with three(3) other relevant subject applicants with basic entry requirements are offered desire courses of study there is no entrance examination and IELTS, TOEFL etc. are not required 

Admission is not regulated by quota system no UTME or JAMB required applicants should not be more than 26 years of age as at the time of enrollment into the programme

(2) Applicants for 200level (Direct Entry) must have five(5) credits as mentioned in (1) above in addition to any of the following certificates A’Level Diploma NCE university foundation certificate or transferable applicant from any accredited institution applicants should not be more than 26years of age as the time of enrollment into the programme

POSTGRADUATE

(1) An applicant for master’s degree programme must in addition to the requirements stipulated in ‘1’ above passes a Bachelor degree with a minimum of second class lower division there is no age limit for a postgraduate applicant

ACADEMIC PROGRESS

At the end of the required academic year in TSU, a student automatically proceed to a foreign partner university to complete studies and obtain a relevant degree certificate

NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE AND NIGERIA LAW SCHOOL

At the end of their studies, interested graduands may come back to Nigeria to undergo the mandatory National youth service corps programme (NYSC) or stay back to complete the master’s degree before returning to Nigeria law graduates are also eligible to attend Nigeria law school to become barristers or solicitor in Nigeria

DURATION OF COURSE

Undergraduate programme

1) 3 years in TSU, 1 year abroad (Management/business-related courses)

2) 4 years in TSU, 1 year abroad (Engineering/Technology related courses)

3) 2 years in TSU 2 years abroad(Nursing)

4) 2 years in Nigeria university 4 years abroad (Medicine)

Postgraduate Degree programme

1) Master’s degree 1 year in TSU,1 year abroad (all faculties)

2) PhD 3 years in TSU

3) Applicants for PhD and Post Doctorate programme must, in addition to having the basic requirements mentioned in (1) above passes a Bachelor’s and master’s degree in the relevant field of studies.
