JUPEB Admission Eligibility
Candidates who aspire to sit for the examinations leading to JUPEB’s Direct Entry Certificates must undergo intensive academic work that aligns with their prospective university course.
Here are the key academic structures for the JUPEB programme at TASUED:
- Each candidate is expected to register and sit for three subject examinations and a General Studies course that matches their proposed university course.
- Each subject comprises four courses, with two taken each semester. The results from all the courses are merged at the end of the second semester to obtain the candidate’s grade in that subject.
- Candidates are expected to undertake twelve courses in total – six per semester – along with a General Studies course.
- The General Studies courses are based on relevant General courses suggested for each Faculty by the university.
- Upon completion of the programme, students are issued certificates that bear Letter Grades of A, B, C, D, E, or F in each of the three subjects and General Studies Paper.
- For admission into their university of choice, candidates must pass the prescribed JUPEB examinations and satisfy all other conditions as prescribed by their chosen university.
