Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into any TASUED postgraduate programme must have a minimum of Five (5) credit passes, including English Language, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

Programme-Specific Requirements

  1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
    Applicants must have at least a Third Class Bachelor’s Degree or a Lower Credit in HND.
  2. Master’s Programmes (M.Ed., M.A., M.Sc.)
    Applicants must have at least a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in their Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates with Third Class degrees can also apply if they hold a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field.
  3. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
    Candidates need a Master’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 4.0. Those with a CGPA between 3.50 and 3.99 will undergo a conversion process into a full Ph.D. programme.

How to Apply for TASUED Postgraduate Admission

Application Process

  1. Candidates must pay an application fee of ₦15,000 via Master or Visa cards.
  2. After payment, visit the TASUED Postgraduate Portal and fill out the online application form.
  3. Submit all required documents, including O’Level results, degree certificates, and NYSC discharge certificates.

Referee Reports

Three referees must complete and submit confidential reports online. One of the referees must be a previous lecturer of the candidate.

Academic Transcripts

Applicants should request their previous institutions to send academic transcripts directly to tpc@tasued.edu.ng.
