Reprint updated bed space reservation slips

TSU instructed students who previously made bed space reservations in specific halls to reprint their updated reservation slips through the university portal. The halls named in the notice are:

• Zenith Hall
• Presidential Hall
• Teffund 2013 Hall
• Teffund 2014 Hall
• JJT Hall

The updated slip is mandatory for verification by Hall Officers; the notice states that no accommodation service will be rendered without it. In plain terms, students need the reprinted slip before hall staff can validate the reservation.

The statement also asked students to treat the information “with all seriousness that it deserves”.

Cash payments for hostel accommodation: TSU bans it

TSU prohibited all cash payments for hostel accommodation to any person, whether inside or outside university premises. The notice directed students to make all related payments only through the official online channels.

The management stated it will not be held responsible for financial losses linked to cash transactions. It also warned that disciplinary sanctions will apply to:

• any student found making cash payments for hostel spaces, and
• any individual caught receiving cash for hostel spaces.

This part of the notice sets out the rule, the channel for payment, and the consequence; the university put it in writing, and students are expected to act within that boundary.
