UAST Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Admission

1. Introduction
The general public and prospective applicants are hereby informed that the University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ihugh, Benue State, has now been duly profiled on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2025/2026 admissions exercise.
UAST is a modern, forward-looking, polymathic university committed to producing highly skilled graduates for the emerging global knowledge economy.
2. Invitation for Applications
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who sat for the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME and obtained the required minimum cut-off marks for the available degree programmes.
Candidates who wish to apply should immediately visit any JAMB Office or JAMB-approved CBT Centre to perform a Change of Institution to UAST, Ihugh as their First Choice Institution.
3. Programme Cut-Off Marks
- Nursing Science: Minimum JAMB score required – 160 and above
- Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): Minimum JAMB score required – 160 and above
- Human Nutrition and Dietetics: Minimum JAMB score required – 160 and above
- Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Minimum JAMB score required – 160 and above
- All Other Programmes (including Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Management, Education, etc.): Minimum JAMB score required – 150 and above
4. Application and Post-UTME Screening Procedure
- Change institution to UAST, Ihugh on the JAMB CAPS Portal at any CBT Centre or JAMB Office.
- Ensure your O-Level (SSCE) results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS Portal. Failure to upload SSCE results will prevent admission.
- Visit the UAST Admissions Portal (portal.bsuast.edu.ng) to register for the Post-UTME Screening form.
- Complete the online screening form and upload the following:
- Passport Photograph
- O-Level Results
- UTME Result Slip
- Pay the Post-UTME Screening Fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable).
- Print your Screening Acknowledgement Slip and keep it for verification.
4.1 Important Notes
- All admissions will be processed strictly through the JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates must ensure that their SSCE results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS; otherwise, they will not be considered for admission.
- A candidate who is adjudged to have willfully provided false, incorrect, or misleading information at any stage shall be deregistered instantly and handed over to law enforcement for prosecution.
