UCTH, Calabar Aptitude Test for 2025/2026 Admission Applicants
The UCTH nursing aptitude test has been moved from August 1 to August 15, 2025. Everything else stays the same, including the CBT format. Take note of the new date and keep prepping.
For those gearing up for the 2025/2026 aptitude test into the College of Nursing Sciences at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), well, here’s a little hiccup — the date has been shifted.
That Friday, August 1 you probably circled in red? You can uncircle it. The test now holds two weeks later, on Friday, August 15.
So, what happened?
No drama, really. Just some admin palava behind the scenes. The hospital’s management team said they had to adjust a few things to get everything ready for a smooth run. Better to wait than show up to a half-baked setup, yeah?
If you’ve already booked your bus or begged your aunty in Calabar to host you that weekend, sorry for the stress. These changes rarely come easy, but at least it’s just a small shift.
What stays the same?
- Venue: No change. If you already know where you’re writing, keep that in mind.
- Test type: Still a Computer-Based Test (CBT). No paper and pencil.
- Other info: The instructions you got earlier? Still valid, unless they say otherwise later.
A little reminder…
This test is CBT, so if you’ve never done one before, now’s the time to get comfy with it. Try online practice tests. Even a few rounds of JAMB past questions on a phone can help. The more you click, the better you’ll feel when that screen lights up on test day.
Stay in the loop
Don’t rely on gist alone. Keep an eye on UCTH’s official channels or swing by the school notice board if you’re nearby. If there’s any other change — fingers crossed there won’t be — they’ll post it there.
So yeah, if this change rattled your plans, breathe. Reset. Regroup. And above all, keep studying. August 15 isn’t that far off. And when it comes, be ready to click with confidence.
