Umaru Ali Shinkafi Poly Mid-Semester Break 2023
Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, has announced a Mid-Semester Break from June 19th to July 3rd, 2023. Several academic activities have also been rescheduled, including the end of admission and registration exercises, slated for 3rd July and 10th July 2023, respectively. First semester examinations for ND I, HND I, HND II, and the Polytechnic Diplomas will commence on 24th July 2023. ND II students' resumption date has been shifted to 3rd July 2023.
Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, has announced a Mid-Semester Break and rescheduled several academic activities in the interest of students and the academic community. The polytechnic management has set the period for the Mid-Semester Break from Monday, 19th June to Monday, 3rd July 2023.
Changes in Academic Activities
The academic activities rescheduled by the polytechnic are as follows:
- Sales of Admission Form: The deadline for the purchase of admission forms has been extended to the 3rd of July, 2023. Prospective students now have more time to secure their forms and process their applications.
- Admission Exercise: The admission exercise, which involves the processing of applications and admissions, will now end on the 10th of July, 2023.
- Registration Exercise: The registration exercise for all admitted students is to end on the 17th of July, 2023. New and returning students are advised to finalize their registration processes before this deadline to avoid penalties.
- First Semester Examinations: The first semester examinations for ND I, HND I, HND II, and the Polytechnic Diplomas have been rescheduled to start on the 24th of July, 2023. Students are encouraged to use the mid-semester break to prepare adequately for their exams.
- ND II Students’ Resumption Date: The resumption date for ND II students has been moved to the 3rd of July, 2023. This ensures students return from their mid-semester break in time to continue with their academic activities.
