Umi Mentorship Programme 2025: Application Details
Umi Mentorship Programme supports African mums with children under 3. Apply by 30th November 2024 for expert guidance and workshops.
The Umi Mentorship Programme is designed to support new mothers and those with children below three years of age.
This programme connects mothers with experienced mentors to help them grow as parents, partners, and professionals.
Launched in June 2023, the programme has supported mothers from 12 African countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
The next cohort will run from February to April 2025.
The mentorship is virtual, but participants may choose to meet their mentors in person if they wish.

Benefits
Participants will be paired with mentors who have successful careers and experience in raising children.
Each mentee will join a group of four other mothers in a mini-circle for peer mentorship.
Weekly workshops and reflection sessions will focus on mental health, physical health, career, and family.
The programme provides guidance and a supportive community for its participants.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must be an African mother living in Africa or the diaspora.
Your child must be between the ages of 0 and 3 years.
You must be willing to grow as a mother and professional.
You must want to connect with an experienced mentor who has faced similar challenges.
Application Process
New mothers are invited to apply for the 4th cohort, which runs from February to April 2025.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on 30 November 2024.
