What do they want from you?
Here’s where some folks start sweating. But really, the requirements are straightforward.
You’ll need:
- At least five credits in your O’level (SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB… pick your poison). English and Maths must be there. And you can’t sit more than twice.
- A Master’s degree — either MBA, MSc or something that sounds close enough to “Management.”
- Three years’ work experience. They said cognate experience, but let’s just call it what it is — time spent doing actual admin or management work.
If that sounds like you, great. If not, maybe sit this one out and come back later.
How long are you signing up for?
It’s 36 months. Yep, three whole calendar years. You’ll need to pace yourself. That’s plenty of time to learn, unlearn and probably get tired halfway and wonder why you started. Normal feeling. Push through it.
How to apply without losing your mind
Okay, this is where some people get stuck — the online form. It’s not that deep though, just follow along.
- Head to the University of Abuja portal.
- Tap on this link: Apply here.
- From the options, pick “Abuja Business School Doctor of Business Administration.”
- Fill in your details: surname, first name, maybe a middle name, email, and your phone number. Then click Next.
- The payment preview will pop up. Hit Generate RRR.
- Then click Make Payment. It’ll swing you over to Remita.
- Use your card (MasterCard or Visa, nothing fancy).
- Once payment is successful, the site chucks you back to the portal. It gives you an application number and logs you out. Rude, but it works.
- Go back to Main Login, punch in that application number, and use your surname as your password.
From there, just follow the prompts.
By the way…
The form costs ₦50,000. That’s right. Fifty thousand naira. If that made you blink twice, you’re not alone.
When’s the deadline?
You’ve got until 30 September 2025. So, yes, time is still on your side — unless you’re the kind who waits until the night before.
