Latest Update:
The University of Abuja has announced that the online registration for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME Screening has been extended to Saturday, 26th October 2024.Β
This extension allows those who havenβt completed their registration to do so.
If youβve picked the University of Abuja as your first choice in UTME, or youβre coming in through Direct Entry, the clock is already ticking. From Thursday 14 August 2025 until Friday 5 September 2025, the school wants you to log on and get your name in for the Post-UTME screening. Miss the date, and well, thereβs no back door.
Itβs not for everyone though, so best to check the rules before rushing.
Who can actually apply
The schoolβs line-up of conditions is pretty direct.
- UTME applicants need at least 180 in their UTME score and must hit the programme cut-off for their chosen course.
- You need 5 credits, including Maths and English, in OβLevel, all from not more than two sittings.
- OβLevel results must be uploaded on the JAMB portal.
- Direct Entry applicants can present NCE, IJMB, ND, First Degree, or HND. If you have JUPEB or NABTEB A-Level, this is not for you.

- Age limit? You must be 16 years or older by 30 September 2025.
- UTME subject combinations must match your course needs.
- If your result is still βawaitingβ, just hold on. This screening isnβt open for you.

- Hit the undergraduate link on the left.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click get details.
- Fill the basic info page with a working phone number and email, then tap next.
- Pay the N2000 screening fee.
- On the review page, click Generate RRR, then submit to move to the Remita page.
- Select your card, fill details, and enter the OTP sent to your phone.
- After payment, log back into the portal with your JAMB number as username and your surname as password.
- Complete your registration, print your form and receipt.
One last thing
If youβre thinking of switching courses, that must be done on the JAMB portal first. The school wonβt recognise the change if itβs not on their system.
