UNIABUJA Sultan Maccido Institute Admission Form 2025

The Sultan Maccido Institute for Peace, Leadership and Development Studies at the University of Abuja has started its admission for the 2024/2025 session.

Forms are open to candidates from various fields.

Eligible fields include Engineering, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, Arts, Military, Paramilitary, Agriculture, Education, Taxation, and Law.

Know the Entry Rules

You must meet the following conditions:

O’ Level:

• Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects.
• Results must be from not more than two sittings.

Undergraduate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with a Second Class Lower or higher.
• Postgraduate Diplomas accept Lower Credit or its match.

NYSC:

• NYSC discharge or exemption letter is needed.

For Professional PhD:

• You must meet all the entry steps of the university.
• You must have a Bachelor’s degree, a professional Master’s, and an MSc in a related field.

All candidates will go through a screening stage before admission.

Know the Course Length

• Postgraduate Diploma runs for 15 calendar months.
• Master’s Degree runs for 18 calendar months.
• Professional PhD runs for 3 years.
• Certificate courses run based on course needs.

Visit the University of Abuja online portal.

Pay the application fee of ₦20,500 if applying from Nigeria.

Foreign applicants must pay the equal amount in their local currency.
