The University of Abuja is now receiving applications for its 2025/2026 Degree Upgrader Programme.

This programme is for candidates with HND or first degrees with third-class or pass grades.

It is managed by the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education.

Meet the Admission Requirements

You must hold one of these qualifications:

• HND with at least Lower Credit
• Bachelor’s Degree with Third Class or Pass

From a school recognised by law

You must also have one of the following:

• At least five O’Level credit passes including English and Maths
• Two A-Level passes with five O’Level credits
• National Diploma or NCE with 10 points
• IJMB with 10 points and credit passes in required subjects

Accepted exam bodies include:

• WAEC
• NECO
• NABTEB
• GCE O’Level
• Teachers’ Grade II

The form costs ₦20,000 excluding extra charges

To apply, follow the steps below:

1. Visit UNIABUJA application portal
2. Click on application access
3. Select Bachelor’s Degree Upgrade using this direct link
4. Fill in the details:
   • Surname
   • First Name
   • Other Names
   • Email
   • Phone Number
5. Click Next
6. On the payment page, click Generate RRR
7. Click Make Payment to visit Remita
8. Use a MasterCard or Visa Card to pay
9. After payment, you will return to the portal
10. You will get your application number on the screen and by SMS
11. You will be logged out
12. Return to the main login page
13. Enter your application number and surname to continue
14. Complete the application and submit

All forms must be submitted before Friday, 13 June 2025

No extension or late entry will be allowed.
