The University of Calabar has fixed resumption dates for the 2025/2026 academic year. New students are to resume on 29th September while returning students resume 2nd October. All students are encouraged to follow the schedule closely.

The University of Calabar has now made public the resumption timetable for the 2025/2026 academic year. The notice, signed by the Registrar, Dr (Mrs) Chukwuka Icha, clears the air and puts dates in black and white.

Key dates for UNICAL resumption
- New students: Arrival on campus Monday, 29th September 2025. Screening and registration start Tuesday, 30th September.
- Returning students: Expected back on Thursday, 2nd October 2025. Registration opens that same day.
- Lectures for all: Begin on Monday, 6th October 2025.
- Late registration: Runs from Monday, 13th October to Friday, 14th October, closing fully by Wednesday, 19th October 2025.
- Supplementary exams: Scheduled Monday, 3rd November to Friday, 7th November 2025.
- Summer exams: Hold Wednesday, 5th November 2025.
