University of Delta (UNIDEL) 5th Matriculation 2025

The University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has announced the date for its 5th Matriculation Ceremony. According to a circular signed by the Registrar, Richmond Omagbemi (Esq), the ceremony will take place on Friday, 14 November 2025. The event will begin with an academic procession at 9:00 a.m. and marks a major milestone for new students joining UNIDEL for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This ceremony gives fresh students a formal welcome into the university community. Attendance is strictly for those who have completed registration and are recognised as bona fide students of UNIDEL. Members of Senate and Congregation are expected to take part in the academic procession, dressed in their full academic regalia.
Guidelines for the Ceremony
Faculty Officers are to collect academic gowns for students from the Central Stores starting Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at 12 noon. They have also been instructed to supervise the distribution process and ensure that all participating students maintain proper decorum throughout the event.
During the matriculation, students are reminded to uphold the university’s values through their behaviour, appearance, and conduct. Any action that could tarnish UNIDEL’s public image will attract disciplinary measures as stated in the university’s regulations.
Conduct and Responsibility
The management has urged all attendees to treat the event with respect and seriousness. New students should view the matriculation as a rite of passage into academic life, where discipline and dedication are expected. Members of staff and the university community are encouraged to support and guide the new intakes as they begin their studies at UNIDEL.
Message from the University Management
In its closing statement, the management of the University of Delta (UNIDEL) wished the entire university community a successful and memorable matriculation ceremony. The institution continues to uphold its commitment to academic excellence and moral responsibility as it welcomes a new set of students into its growing academic family.
