UNIJOS Golden Jubilee and Convocation 2025

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has shared the full schedule for its 35th and 36th Combined Convocation and Golden Jubilee events set for Saturday, 13 December 2025.

The notice, signed on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tanko Ishaya, states that the ceremony will feature the award of Certificates, Diplomas, First Degrees, Higher Degrees and Honorary Doctorate Degrees.

The gathering will begin at 10:00am at the Jeremiah Useni Stadium on the Naraguta Campus.

Events for the Golden Jubilee Week

Day One Thursday, 11th Dec, 2025

50th Anniversary Celebration Activities @3:00pm
Venue: Social Sciences Auditorium, Naraguta Campus

1. Various Activities across the University Campuses
2. Anniversary Lecture by Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa

Day Two Friday, 12th Dec, 2025

1. Convocation Lecture @ 2:00pm
   Venue: Ailya Ahwe Doma Indoor Theatre, Naraguta Campus
