UNILAG 55th Convocation Ceremonies for 2023/2024 Graduating Class

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the 55th Convocation Ceremonies, which will run from Monday, January 13 to Friday, January 17, 2025.

The event celebrates the achievements of students graduating across various programmes.

A pre-convocation press conference will kick off the activities on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Guidelines for Graduating Students

Collection of Academic Outfit and Order of Proceedings

Graduating students must collect their gowns and Order of Proceedings from their respective faculties or centres:

Submission of Payment Receipts

Forward payment receipts to the appropriate faculty email:

Seat Reservation

Seat reservation is mandatory for Days 1 and 2 via the UNILAG Convocation Access Portal.

No admittance will be allowed into the J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium after 8:30 a.m. for morning sessions or 12:30 p.m. for afternoon sessions.

Return of Academic Outfit

All gowns must be returned by Monday, February 3, 2025, to avoid a fine of ₦40,000.

Certificates are available immediately after the convocation.
