The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Professional Certificate Programmes Admission Form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available.

The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) of UNILAG is pleased to announce the opening of applications.

These programmes are designed to enhance skills and offer certifications that are recognized both nationally and internationally.

Available Programmes

UNILAG offers a variety of programmes through HRDC, including:

• Diploma in Social Development and Administration (SDA): Two academic sessions (Full Time).
  Note: Graduates may proceed to a B.Sc. in Social Work.
• Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education (HKHE): Two academic sessions (Full Time).
  Note: Graduates may proceed to a B.Ed. in Human Kinetics and Health Education.
• Proficiency Certificate in European Languages (French/Russian/German/Spanish): One academic session (Two Semesters).
• Diploma in Information Technology (DIT): Two Semesters (9 months).
• Advanced Diploma in Law Enforcement and Administration (ADLEA): Two Semesters (9 months).
• Certificate Course in Law Enforcement and Security (CLES): Three Months, One Semester.

• Certificate in Technical Works and Facility Maintenance: Three Months, One Semester.
• Diploma in Technical Works and Facility Maintenance: Nine Months, Two Semesters.
• Diploma in Chinese Language Proficiency: Two Semesters (9 months).
• Certificate in Cooperative Management Studies: One Semester (3 months).
• Diploma in Cooperative Management Studies: Two Semesters (9 months).
• Diploma in Paralegal Studies: Two Semesters (9 months).

Admission Requirements

To learn more about the admission requirements for each programme, visit the HRDC Admission Portal and select your programme of choice.

Application Fee and Method of Application

Applicants should visit the HRDC Application Portal to complete the pre-application form.

After completing the form, a “Payment Reference Number” (RRR) will be issued.

This number should be printed out and taken to any Deposit money bank to make a non-refundable payment of ₦15,000 via Remita.

After payment, return to the HRDC portal, click the application form link, and log in with the Payment Reference Number and Surname as the password.

Complete the application form and submit it online.

Important Information

• Full-Time Programmes: Only Social Development and Administration (SDA), Human Kinetics and Health Education (HKHE), and the Proficiency Certificate in European Languages are full-time programmes that run on weekdays.
• Part-Time Programmes: All other programmes are part-time, running on weekends only.
• Payments must be confirmed by the bank for applicants to access the application form.
• The pre-application form must be completed within five days of obtaining the Reference Number, or it will be declined.
• Completed application forms, along with two photocopies of birth certificates, credentials, Reference Number printouts, and the ₦15,000 payment teller, must be submitted to the HRDC Secretariat no later than six weeks from the date of this advert.

Notification of Admission

Successful candidates will be notified via email and through the HRDC portal.

Admission Letters

Admission letters for shortlisted candidates can be printed online.

Letters of admission will not be posted to individual candidates.
