The admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been released. Successful applicants are advised to check admission status and proceed to screening at the Administrative Unit (2nd Floor, DLI Building).

All newly admitted students are informed that Batch Two screening will commence on Monday, 12 Jan 2026.

- O’ Level Certificate(s) (Original)
- All Higher Degree Certificates for Direct Entry (e.g. HND, OND, NCE, ICAN and other Professional certificates)
- NYSC Certificate/NYSC Exclusion or Exemption Certificate for Direct Entry
- Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit that predates the admissions advertisement
- Marriage Certificate, Affidavit for Change of Name, and Newspaper Classification (Married female only)

- A Reference Letter from Employer or Sponsor (Original)
- A Reference Letter from any of: a Lawyer, Clergy, Imam, or Senior Civil Servant
- Online generated Student Payment Receipt
- Marriage Certificate, Affidavit for Change of Name, and Newspaper Classification (Married female only)
- Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit that predates the admissions advertisement
- Photographs: passport size with white background (4 copies with name and matriculation number on the reverse side)

One-month window and fraud warning
The notice states that failure to comply and appear for the screening exercise within one month may lead to forfeiture of admission.
Newly admitted candidates are also advised to be watchful and beware of fraudsters; the university states it does not engage third parties or agents for admission processing. For further enquiries, candidates are directed to visit the office of the Institute Secretary for clarification.
