General entry needs
- Master’s degree and, where the rank needs it, a Ph.D.
- Teaching or research record, as listed for each rank
- Senior Lecturer, at least six years
- Lecturer I, at least three years
- Five O-Level credits, English and Mathematics included
- Strong ICT use, you will take a CBT before interview
Pay scale and service terms
- Salary bands for Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, Lecturer II, and Assistant Lecturer follow the current national minimum wage grid

- Prepare a CV with:
- Passport photo, full name, birth details, state and LGA
- Home and postal address, gender, phone, email, nationality, marital status, children
- Schools with dates, academic and professional awards with dates
- Work history, former and present posts
- Post you want, and three referees with addresses
- Ask your referees to send their reports through the portal
- Upload your form and CV on the UNILAG Careers portal
- Only shortlisted people will be called for the IT test, then interview
