This new process aims to simplify operations and reduce unnecessary stress for graduating students.

With this update, you can now complete your clearance online, making it easier as you prepare for the next steps in your academic journey.

Step-by-Step Guide to Process Student Clearance

Follow these steps to complete your clearance online:

1. Log in to the Student Portal

Go to the UNILORIN student portal (https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/), and log in using your matric number and password.

2. Navigate to the Clearance Section

Once logged in, locate the “Clearance” tab in the navigation bar.

Click on it to proceed.

3. Upload the Alumni Receipt

Ensure you have paid your alumni fee.

Upload the PDF copy of the receipt by following the instructions provided on the interface.

4. View Clearance Officers’ Actions

After uploading the receipt, you will see a list of clearance officers.

Their statuses will initially show as “Pending.”

5. Check Clearance Status

As each officer processes your clearance, the status will update to “Cleared.”

6. Print the Clearance Certificate

Once all officers have cleared your records, you can proceed to print your clearance certificate.

This process is essential for collecting your Statement of Results/Certificate and preparing for NYSC mobilization and Convocation Ceremonies.
