UNILORIN Harmattan Semester Update 2025/2026

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has released an official update on the end of Harmattan Semester lectures, the lecture-free week, the upload of Continuous Assessment scores, and the start of semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice was shared through an internal memorandum signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola, and is meant for all academic staff and students.

End of Harmattan Semester Lectures

Harmattan Semester lectures will end on Friday, 16 January 2026. All departments are expected to complete lectures on or before Friday, 9 January 2026.

Upload of Continuous Assessment

The academic portal will be open for the upload of Continuous Assessment scores and other approved results from Monday, 19 January to Friday, 23 January 2026.

Lecture-Free Week

The period from 19 to 23 January 2026 has been set aside as a lecture-free week. This time allows lecturers to upload assessment scores and complete related academic tasks. No lectures will take place during this week.

Harmattan Semester Examinations

Harmattan Semester examinations will begin on Monday, 26 January 2026, and will end on Friday, 13 February 2026.
