UNILORIN Tech Innovation Challenge 2025

The University of Ilorin has announced the start of the Tech Innovation Challenge for 2025.

The contest is open to students with ideas in tech fields.

You can join alone or with others in a team of up to three.

Each group must include at least one student from the Department of Telecommunication Science.

Focus Areas for Project Submission

You must pick one topic from the list below:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Information Technology
• Network Security, Cyber Security or Forensics
• Blockchain Technology
• Networking
• Internet of Things

Prize List for Winning Teams

• First prize: ₦500,000
• Second prize: ₦300,000
• Third prize: ₦200,000

Winners will be named at the final event.

Key Dates to Remember

• Registration begins: 24 March 2025
• Submission closes: 4 April 2025
• Final event holds: 21 May 2025

The venue for the final is the University of Ilorin Auditorium.

• Team member names
• Project title
• Project overview using What, How, and Why

The entry must show a clear idea and how it works.
