Dr Peter Olumuyiwa James from UNIMED has been ranked among the top 2% researchers in the world for his work in infectious disease modelling.

The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) is proud to announce that one of its lecturers has been ranked among the top 2% of researchers globally.

This exciting news highlights the academic achievements and contributions of Dr Peter Olumuyiwa James.

He has earned this recognition through his exceptional work in Infectious Disease Modelling.

Dr Peter Olumuyiwa James’ Achievements

Dr Olumuyiwa is a lecturer in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at UNIMED.

He was the former Head of the Department and is currently the Acting Director of the Centre for Data Science and Health Metrics.

His research focuses on areas such as Bio-mathematics, Bio-statistics, and Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases.

Dr Olumuyiwa has published numerous papers in both local and international peer-reviewed journals.

Many of his works are featured in high-impact journals.

In addition to his research, he also serves as a reviewer and editor for several leading journals.

His contributions continue to shape the field of infectious disease modelling.
