The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) announces its 29th and 30th combined Convocation Ceremony.
This event will honour graduates from the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 sessions.
The convocation includes a series of activities to celebrate academic achievements and mark the journey of new graduates.

Event Schedule
Monday, 4th November 2024
A press briefing will begin at 2:00 PM.
Tuesday, 5th November 2024
The Alumni Homecoming event will take place at 2:00 PM.
Wednesday, 6th November 2024
The Convocation Lecture will be held at 2:00 PM.
The Convocation Play is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
Thursday, 7th November 2024
The inauguration of completed projects will begin at 9:00 AM.
The conferment of First Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates will follow at 10:00 AM.
Friday, 8th November 2024
The ceremony for the conferment of Master’s Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas will start at 10:00 AM.
Saturday, 9th November 2024
The investiture of Emeritus and Distinguished Professors will take place at 10:00 AM.
The conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees will follow.
