University Diploma Certificates not ALLOWED for Direct Entry - NUC
Nigeria University Commission, NUC released that University Diplomas are NOT ACCEPTABLE for admissions into Nigerian Universities through Direct Entry applications.
Nigeria University Commission’s Board has observed with dismay that some Universities still run Foundation and Diploma programmes, despite the fact that the Federal Ministry of Education, through the National Council on Education has outlawed it some years ago.
It is further observed that candidates use such Diploma Certificates to seek for admission into Degree Programmes through DIRECT ENTRY applications.
The Board wishes to reiterate that such qualifications (University Diplomas) are NOT ACCEPTABLE for admissions into Nigerian Universities through Direct Entry applications.
