The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has introduced a major reduction in ICT fees and charges to benefit students.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carol Arinze Umobi, approved this reduction following recommendations from the ICT Committee.
This fee reduction amounts to a total cut of N9,500 in ICT-related charges.

Key Changes in ICT Fees and Charges
- Single ICT Charge: Students will now be charged once for all ICT services, removing the need for multiple payments.
- Abolished Fees:
- Application fee has been removed, saving students N2,000.
- Duplicate Orientation fee has been removed, saving students N3,500.
- Reduced Fees:
- The General Studies publications fee is now reduced from N12,000 to N8,000.
- Transcript Fees:
- A 50% reduction on all transcript fees has been approved.
