Duties of the UNIZIK Registrar
The Registrar serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the university.
The Registrar reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the university, excluding financial matters.
The Registrar is the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation of the university.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or the Governing Council.
Qualifications for the Position of Registrar
Candidates must hold a degree from a recognised university.
Computer literacy is required for this role.
Additional qualifications will be an advantage.
The candidate must be in good health, possess a pleasant disposition, and demonstrate qualities such as sound judgment, dependability, and integrity.
Experience Requirements
Applicants must have at least fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience in a university setting.
Candidates should have served in an administrative role and must have held the position of Deputy Registrar for at least three (3) years.
Leadership experience is essential for this position.
Salary and Conditions of Service
The salary and conditions will be in line with those applicable to Registrars at federal universities in Nigeria.
